This policy explains what the Fresh Slate for X browser extension (“the extension”, “we”) does and does not do with your information. We built the extension to do its job entirely inside your own browser and to collect as little as possible.
Fresh Slate for X helps you delete your own content on X (x.com / twitter.com) in bulk — your posts, replies, reposts, likes and media. It works by reading the X web pages you are already viewing, finding your items, and clicking delete/undo on your behalf. It only ever acts on the X account you are logged in to in your own browser.
The extension saves your settings and the progress of a cleanup run locally on your device using your browser's storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to process payments. When you subscribe or manage your subscription, the extension communicates with ExtensionPay to check whether your subscription is active. ExtensionPay and Stripe may process the email address you enter at checkout and your payment details under their own privacy policies. We never receive or store your full card details.
Because we do not collect your personal X data, there is nothing for us to retain. Locally stored settings remain until you clear them or remove the extension. Subscription records are held by ExtensionPay/Stripe per their policies.
The extension is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 18 and over.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
